"Hotel was not what I expected. The food was average the drinks were horrible.. the beer on tap we thought was presidente and I was another beer. We were told by one of the staff that it was another brand beer. Smh also no night life, and for the sport bar there was nothing to do. No pool table or anything to make this stat fun. Will not return! "

"The hotel is on a busy street. Half of the building is being renovated. There is some construction noise from around 8am. And there was noise from dogs barking during the night sometimes.The hotel location is close to the centro area, but nowhere close to a nice beach. The beach in Puerto Plata is an embarassment to the city and the country. Full of garbage.The staff were all very nice. the price per night is very reasonable. "

"I made a reservation at this hotel and when I went to check in they treated me like I was crazy and told me that I had made the reservation at their lower tear patner hotel Cofresi. Then I found out that they over sold the hotel and I ended up in a very crappie place. Terrible costumer service. "

"Do NOT waste your money here! We booked here last minute when our Cuba trip was cancelled and it is not a 3.5-4 star as advertised. Half of our room amenities were missing and our phone did not work all week (despite asking 5 times to get someone to fix it and they said it would be fixed that day). They would take our dirty towels and not replace with clean ones or replace water, so everyday we had to walk to the lobby (up like 6 flights of stairs) to ask for them to be replaced. The bathroom ceiling constantly dripped on us and we always came back to a puddle in our bathroom. Warm water 1/2 the week, cold the other. The public bathrooms in and around the lobby were always flooded and disgusting because they didn’t flush. We’d have to walk back to our room if we needed to use the bathroom. We thought it might just have been our experience, but sure enough after talking to people, it was everyone’s experience. One lady didn’t have AC all week and asked everyday to be moved to another room without any luck. I could go on and on about this place. They did not seem to care about anyone’s concerns or want them coming back to this resort apparently. I feel like I need a vacation after a week spent there. You had to walk to the sister resorts for any good entertainment, beach and most à la carts. "

"Meal staff/ Servers very friendly, cleaning ladies not so much, not accommodating, come into the room in the morning to take the tip, then not come back for 4 hours to clean it."

"This is our 2nd time booking at this hotel. Tbh it is such a serene place. The staff is very friendly. The rooms, pool, beach, food EVERYTHING was just right. Our waitress Ruth, was very attentive and was the best “nurse” when my husband got a splinter on the wood deck surrounding the pool. "
